Superbase compared to other
application development systems
Superbase vs Powerbuilder - Superbase is frequently compared
to Powerbuilder. In this case, there isn't a lot of comparison.
Powerbuilder requires a lot more memory (16 to 32 for decent
performance), has a steep learning curve, and is harder to
deploy then most. Also, Powerbuilder works with set oriented
databases, like SQL servers, so it works like most SQL server
people expect, whereas Superbase's SQL support always hurts
it, especially against programs like Powerbuilder that connect
and manipulate data in SQL tables with ease. |
