Reorganizing Superbase database files

In the Superbase window, choose Utilities/Reorganize to compress the current database file's data blocks and reclaim disk space freed by deleting records.

You can also use Reorganize to:

Recover data from a corrupted file

Repair indexes

Copy a database file to a new location.

Superbase displays the Destination dialog box so you can specify a name and location for the reorganized file. Normally, you give the file name that is the name of the current file you opened. For example, if you opened up a file called PAGER, when you reorganize it using the menu bar option, it will ask for a filename, but you will simply type in PAGER in the box and press OK.
