You can delete text in the Program Editor in any of these
ways:

Characters to the left of the cursor

Backspace

The word to the right of the cursor

Ctrl+W

All characters from the cursor to the end of the line

Ctrl+Del

The current line

Ctrl+D

Selected text

To remove the selected text and place it on the clipboard:
Choose Edit/Cut, or press Shift+Del, or press Ctrl+X |
