Internet Web servers are designed to handle multiple simultaneous requests. Although Windows 3.11 may be used to host a 16 bit Web server (acceptable for development), maximum performance will only be achieved with a true 32 bit operating system. Windows95 and Windows NT should both be considered with a clear bias towards Windows NT. For maximum performance NT Server should be used, although NT Workstation also works extremely well.
