Object-Oriented Language

SBL, Superbase's database management language, has been extensively revised, and now offers an intuitive object-oriented approach to application development.

The object model allows much of Superbase's functionality to be represented as a hierarchy of object types, together with an industry-standard syntax for manipulating properties, methods and events. There are full implementations of collections, containership, inheritance, polymorphism, and object variables.

Exposed objects include: Superbase itself, windows, forms, form controls, dialogs and dialog controls, menu bars and menu items, icon bars and icons, mailbox and mail messages, and import and export converters.
