Superbase Classic Demos now available.
Downloads Library 2 Demos and Patches has the full demo that includes all of the languages in: SBCLASDE/full, as well as a demo for each language: SBCLASDE/English, SBCLASDE/French, SBCLASDE/German, SBCLASDE/Greek, SBCLASDE/Italian, SBCLASDE/Polish, SBCLASDE/Spanish, SBCLASDE/Swedish. Also, the demos have been changed to make downloading easier and are now stored in floppy disk image sized files, so these links will take you to a directory, where all of the files need to be downloaded to have an installable demo.

Superbase 2001 Maintenance Release patch available.
Downloads Library 2 Demos and Patches has 11 different versions of the latest Superbase 2001 patches:

The patch works against SB 2001 builds 526 through 543. Make sure that the patch that you download is for the default language that you installed. This is the language that Superbase starts in if you double-click on the SB30.EXE in the installation directory. Each patch will also patch any of the SBDT??30.DLL files for the languages installed as secondary languages. These patches also patch an installed RTS and an installed Superbase Personal. Please note that an enhancement to the font style support has added the FontStrikeout style and in order to keep the forms compatible an existing bit in the file format was used. Unfortunately this bit was not consistently set on or off in the past and as such, existing forms may open with some or all of the text shown in strikeout style. A supplied program, FIXSTRKO.SBP will recursively repair any forms or graphic reports in a subdirectory tree as long as they can be opened without error (data files must be in the same directory). This program can be found in the SAMPLES\2001 directory and is supplied in source so that it can be customized as needed.

Superbase PPCS Record-view client for PalmOS
This program can be installed to your PalmOS device and then used either via a serial cable or directly using a Palm modem. It does not currently work using the USB connector. To test it, make sure that the HotSync tray icon is closed. Then with the cable connected from the cradle into the serial port and the Palm resting in the cradle, create a PPCS server for serial connections using the Remote Connections Wizard in Superbase 3.6i or later. Make sure that the serial port selected is the correct one (where the cable from the Palm cradle is fitted) and that the baud rate is set to 19200. Make sure to share a few data files and then to close the wizard (leaving it open will result in it not responding to requests). Now run the Superbase program on the Palm. From the menu select serial sources and it should already be able to list the available files. Once a file is opened, clicking on the small question mark next to indexed fields will allow browsing and searching according to that index. Clicking on any field contents area will reset to sequential ordering. The file that allows this real time access can be found in Downloads Library 2 Demos and Patches at the following location: SBASEPRC.ZIP.
